Robin Hamilton
And Robin Hamilton is undoubtedly right to correct me.
However, Stalin was known to borrow phrases, and were
you present at a dachau dinner party when Comrade Stalin
made such a quip, it would probably be a very unwise Russian
who corrected him.
My confusion probably stems from thinking of that very black
Nicanor Parra poem where a misfortunate Chilean dies screaming
"Viva Stalin" and I think that's the name of the poem too.
standing corrected
Hugh Tolhurst
