Dear Ram,
have to be brief as there's a flock of small birds circling my head.
That's very nice. But I would have thought it was an occupational hazard of
publicly funded arts organisations that they support artists. And I don't
see the connection between this and Alison's questioning of the corpo-dress
for blokes policy.
What's that? One of the birds is saying that it's so that only the tamer
kind of writers will attend. Another bird is saying that they only screen
the chaps as they don't believe in women writers.
