Britain must be different than the US. I've never met a working farmer in
the US who had time for fancy pinks, expensive horses, and lots of days
off from work. Most of the people who are ripping out hedgerows in order
to make their grain farms economically viable probably don't give a hoot
for the fox-hunters. My greatest fear on a ban of fox-hunting
in the UK is that all of your layabouts will come over here to Virginia.
By the way, do you also support a ban on the slaughter of halal meats
not only for the pain it would spare the animals, but also for the pain it
will give all the Muslims &c &c, or is it just farmers you dislike?
