Funny, this list. I make a throwaway comment at the end of a message about
Coleridge's "Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner" and it starts a thread!
So, Mathew, based on your assurance that the poem bears re-reading, I've
taken my collected Coleridge from the bookshelves for Easter reading. (And,
in doing so, found D.H. Lawrence's collected poems. Haven't read those in
decades also. But, despite that lapse in time, recall that the editor
remarked that posterity would prefer Lawrence's poems to his prose. Hmmm?!)
Relaxing and enjoyable Easter to all. Keep on reading and writing.
Cheers,
Viv Kitson
