Apparently...
Sample a bumper crop of Cambridge talent with members of the First
Tuesday Poets, regular performers at CB1 Café. Enjoy a lively evening of
poetry from the sharp and satirical sexual politics of Martin Figura to
the teasing metaphysical conceits of Wayne Hill. Take in the wry humour
of Andrea Porter's perceptive commentary on themes of social conscience
and exclusion. Empathise as Anne Berkeley wrestles with questions of
identity and communication and soak up the sensitivity of André
Mangeot's observations on family affairs. Last but not least seize the
opportunity to hear one of this year's Arvon prize-winning poets, Peter
Howard.
