Hello Everyone:
I apologize for the long silence, but have been
working out a lot of the details of the program. We
have about 75 cities committed to readings for
Dialogue Among Civilizations Through Poetry. Some of
them are listed on our temporary website:
http://www.rattapallax.com/un.htm
If you do not see your name and program on our site,
it will be loaded within the week.
Please review your section and email me any additional
information. If for some reason, you are no longer
interested or we have made a mistake, please email me
at [log in to unmask] and I will remove you from
the list. If you have not gotten or need a
confirmation letter, please email your fax number or
address and I will send it.
This site is temporary and will be moved to a
dedicated site in a short while.
Some updates:
> Larry Jaffe, who hosts PoeticLicense at the Moondog
Cafe in Hollywood, will be coordinating most of the
200 readings. His email address is [log in to unmask]
> Poetry International Foundation in Rotterdam has
joined us and will be helping to coordinate the
literary conference at the UN, which will be moderated
by John Kinsella. Their website is
http://www.poetry.nl
> Every week, I will be sending you a
newsletter-update on the program.
> The due date to have your reading organized and also
the date for sending your poems for the anthology has
been moved to December 1, 2000
Thank You,
Ram Devineni
