Today, September 21, is Olympic Minister Michael Knight's
48th birthday - and it looks like the beginning of an even bigger
year for him. Because my reading of his chart indicates he will be
made a big job offer in private today, amid the celebrations.

Personality: Michael Knight turns 48 on September 21. His chart
shows that he likes to be a team player but have tight control. In
doing this he seems to have pulled the Olympic circus together.

Sun sign: He's a Virgo and no doubt a stickler for details. His Virgo
side likes to have things done his way.

Sabian Symbol: The Sabian Symbol for his Sun is Virgo 28: A Man
in Uniform Completely Dominates an Assembly of Men: Diplomats,
Scientists and Industrialists. This seems to be such a true reflection
of his dominating personality. The most difficult qualities to reconcile
are that he is very protective and close to his 'team', but is capable
of cutting any of them loose or distancing himself from themm if they
stand in his way.

With his Moon in gracious Libra, he is diplomatic and tends to put
people on pedestals - but can quickly push them off. He probably
has a distaste for showing his emotional side as Saturn is on Libra 16:
A Boat Landing Washed Away. This shows that one of his biggest
fears is to be out of control, especially emotionally.

The Games will be a comparative dream run in his view. He'll keep
smiling, ever watchful for what might go wrong, including the overblown
threat of terrorist attacks.

One of his dreams is to leave a 'monument' behind, something that he'll
be remembered and honoured for doing. He is someone whose hard
work and long hours will probably result in a park or a swimming pool
named after him. His Mercury degree is Virgo 25: A Flag at Half-Mast
in Front of a Public Building.

His personal life may be under a lot of strain. He'll have to deal with
indecision over love and relationships, especially on the 28th.

Days to watch: He should be wary of dishonest dealings with men or legal
involvements on the 19th. He must not be tempted to take shortcuts at the
expense of honesty. He must be watchful of legal matters.

The most testing day will probably be the day before his birthday,
September 20. He is most likely to have a lot on his plate. Major
business or job opportunities may come to the fore or actually be offered.

Emotionally, his best day will be the 15th. Personal relationship matters
will
come up on the 18th. He will have to work the hardest on 17th and 26th.

Bad decisions may be made on 25th (that may be why he has to work so
hard on the 26th). Although the closing ceremony will be a great triumph,
I fear that his confidence may be at a low ebb. If he keeps quiet and
doesn't
fight being in the background all will be well, but if he lets his ego to
the fore
he may do damage to hard won friendships.

His birthday: An exciting career offer may be made in private conversation,
but not something that I think we will hear about for some time. An
announcement
could come at a press conference before Christmas, but it is more likely to
be mid
to late March 2001.

After the Games: Power, money and position are all over his chart. It's
unlikely
that he will be able to comfortably return to anything less than the glamour
of his
Olympic job. NSW politics are unlikely to hold him.

Despite his problems with the press and failings with the public, his value
in the
corporate world has skyrocketed. He likes to be the Mr. Fix-it Man.

Although he can be a skillful diplomat he will need to be extra careful
about
what he says during the period of the Games and for the few weeks following.
Something he says could get out of hand and will need damage control.

This coming year shows him having the ability to come up with ideas and
projects that are ahead of their time. He's going to get very clear about
his
goals and direction. It's a big money year for him, probably the biggest so
far.
