hi, p
thanks for yours. yes, my politics are left - very. check out the
anarchist
thread via the archives. i'm a little behind things at the moment as i've
basically been out of email contact for a few weeks. the readings
situation
does need to be clarified. the corporations aspect does have the potential
to be a worry. i've been in situations where work of mine has been
performed
by people with corporate backing i strongly disapproved of - i reconciled
it
(just - but this is probably guilt relief) with the fact that the material
strongly undermined and even attacked the sponsors themselves. however, i
feel it is the responsibility of every participant to ensure that sponsors
etc are ethical. this is a group decision, not mine alone. it was offered
to
the list and seems to have gained general approval. i also believe ram is
working with good intentions. as for the topic - well, a good opportunity
to
challenge it!
one of the things i am involved in at the moment is setting up an
international landscape/poetics "centre". it will have connections around
the world - the ethical programme will, by design, become regional and
fragmented.
best,
jk
