Occasionally I've tried it, & as usually happens in such disciplines,
occasionally good things happened. The writing every day isn't the problem,
but getting the necessary distance on the writing to edit most of the
results out is. I found that giving myself a formal challenge helped, that
the series should be constrained in some way made the act of writing every
day both more 'useful' & possible...
On the other hand, sometimes you just have to go off & wait awhile...
