I read a really funny poem by Carol Ann Duffy (she lives in London and was
born in Glasgow), it's called 'Rounds.' She writes about someone ordering
drinks for the group and the dialogue starts out sober, by the end of the
poem the language reverts to a drunken dialogue - very funny, hilarious
even. She writes about that scenario that we have all witnessed in a pub!
I would add her to your list.
