Well, exactly. This is especially true of poetry -- anyone can
write for fun, and anyone can write what they call a 'poem'.
To divorce this act from the act of work is to devalue the art-form
as a serious concern, to ignore its history, and to make critical
assessment almost impossible.
Personally speaking, writing poems is the *only* real work I've
ever done. Anything else falls under the category of paid tasks.
