In this respect can we have good Nazis and good Stalinists, as long as you
didn't pull the trigger or grass yer mates up, or snigger at a Jew? I'd say
all Christian's are implicated in murder and oppression as long as the
threadbare movement lasts. Heck most are happy to go around with badges to
this effect, don't they call it witnessing. Now that's poetry for you. But
why would the Pope apologise unless all Christians were implicated? I don't
know much about the faith but aren't they all condemned through original
sin? Every child that crops up on the tv announcing another paedophile
priest reminds me of the monsters who support the scheme.
And yes, people do indeed kill people, but religion and ideology kill far
more. I think I would stand by my premise, though I'll grant you it is
uncompromising, and I am quite happy to be tainted by those of us, dead and
alive, who are irredeemable monsters. The monsters are human too.
Off to my heretic's lair now
Adieu
