I don't agree.
I believe it has been stated, by jk and others, that anything may be
discussed in any way on this list as long as it is not hateful or hurtful.
I assume even that may be excused if it is inadvertent.
As a poet or artist it is obvious at times you may speak to a topic or may
start a thread artistically--you may write a poem or epigram or little story
or reply with some thought that comes into your head that the others of us
may not immediately "get".
I think if you feel to express yourself with satire, you ought to as long as
you don't break any of the rules that have been laid down. I, for one, have
not read any posts of yours that have driven me to feel you should post in
any other way than the way you wish to, and if I do, then I can read it and
go on.
Just like with the tv, we can change the channel if we don't like what's on.
But, bear in mind other people's right to come on and make comments about
what you do--all in the game of trotting stuff out. There will be hecklers,
critics and commentators--I suppose you should find compensation in the
knowlege that you did touch them in some way.
