Hi All:
The message below contains the response I got from Virusbusters @
University of Michigan. They don't specify which of those on the list
are hoaxes and which are the real thing. If you don't have a virus
checking program they suggest deleting any email from persons unknown or
even know to you which seem suspicious without opening them since from
what I understand some of the viruses will appropriate your email
address book without your knowledge and forward infected emails.
Their response follows:

Roy,
Some mentioned are real worms or Trojan horses, the rest are hoaxes. We
advise against using file names or subjects to determine if a file or
e-mail is "safe." Why? Both can change or be changed. I know of two
"popular" worms right now that use a multitude of file names or
subjects.
Instead, we recommend:
* NEVER accept unsolicited file attachments from ANYONE, EVEN if you
know
the person that *appears* to have sent it.
* Obtain, install, use and keep up to date a reputable antivirus
software package.
