Dear Simon
I am not here to defend the Root protocol as I believe it is some what left
wanting, however, I believe it is the role of educators to present ALL the
arguments to degree level students , good or bad , allowing them to make an
educated judgement when they have all the information available, after all
isnt a large part of this mailbase about arguing the relative merits of
different perspectives.
Rightly or wrongly your students deserve to know what a large number of
practitioners are practising, and lets be honest , even the new the
paradigms have a problem completely distancing themselves from.
As has been previously said lets not throw the baby out with the bathwater!
You have to know where your going wrong before you can get it right
Have fun!
