For 4 days last February, about 20 invited practitioners gathered for the
first Annual ETD Think Tank on Sustainable Change (co-hosted by Williams
Corporation and eXperientia) in Tulsa, OK. The event was a modest success,
resulted in the creation of a few new collaborative projects, and a good
time was had by all.
We have begun planning for the next one, also to be held in early February,
2001 in Tulsa, OK. The theme for the Second Annual Think Tank will be
TECHNOLOGY'S ROLE IN EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING AND SUSTAINABLE ORGANIZATIONAL
CHANGE. The cost last year was $100 (for 9 meals and shuttle
transportation) and participants covered their own domestic and/or
international airfares (Williams provided executive accommodation at their
Osaga Hills Learning Center outside Tulsa).
Last year, we invited selected ETD practitioners. This year, we are
pleased to open participation to a greater ETD community (MAX = 36). If
you are interested in being invited to the next Tulsa Think Tank (TTT
2001), please send an e-mail (off list) to Simon Priest <[log in to unmask]>
describing the contribution you would be prepared to share about
technology, change and experiential learning.
Thank you and we look forward to hearing from those of you who are interested.
REGARDS! Simon Priest, PhD
