HISTORY
The International Conference NITe is held once in every two years. The
previous Second (NITE-96) and The Third (NITE-98) International
Conferences were held at the Information Technologies Department of
State Economic University, Minsk, Belarus. These Conferences were
attended by delegates from 12 countries. This year Conference is aimed
to unite scientists from the East & West Europe together, especially
scientists in Computer Science, and to become a place of their
creative cooperation and information exchange.
LANGUAGE
The official Conference language is English.
The language of the Workshop will be Russian.
TOPICS
The Conference makes is focused on a wide range of applications of
computer systems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
1. Artificial Intelligence Systems (*)
2. Evolutionary Algorithms and Their Applications
3. Fuzzy Logic and Its Applications
4. Logic Design
5. Mathematical & Computational Methods
6. Medical Applications of New Information Technologies
7. Modeling & Simulation
8. Neural Systems (*)
9. Telecommunications and Networking
Authors are invited to submit papers describing original work in one
of the above areas. The scope of NITe'2000 includes papers, panel
sessions and tools proposals in the areas of basic and applied
research.
NITe'2000 organizers believe that contributions describing the latest
development and results of investigations will be presented in all of
the topics suggested.

Fees
Registration fee for the participants is 150 USD.
Reduced Conference Fee (15 USD) is possible.
This Reduced Fee includes the Proceedings of the NITe-2000 and coffee
breaks.
AWARDS
Depending on the final balance of the Conference, the Organising
Committee will grant an award to the author of the best paper
presented at NITe-2000.

Accommodation will be arranged at the request of participants
SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT
The abstract should not exceed 200 words (not more than 2 pages),
including figures and text (typed with single spacing and Times New
Roman 12 point font, one column of A4 paper, with margins equal to 2.5
cm). A cover page must include: title, information about all authors
(names, complete mailing addresses, e-mail and fax).
Abstract (together with Registration Form) should be post-mailed or
e-mailed to the Conference address.
Authors will be informed about paper acceptance after reviewing.
PUBLICATION
All papers accepted by reviewers will be published in the Proceedings
of NITe'2000 Conference. Furthermore, some selected papers, in
extended form, will be considered to be published in a book or in an
international journal.

republic.

Belarus State Economic University
Belarus State Economic University is the leader University in Belarus
which trains specialists in the areas of economy and accounting,
management and finance, statistics, commerce and economic cybernetics
for all industries and all types of enterprises and organisations of
national economy. In 1993 the University celebrated its sixtieth
anniversary.
The number of day-time and part-time students (students from Europe,
Asia, Latin America and Africa are among them) exceeds 15,000. About
50 professors work at the University. The University maintains
