In reply I think that the £20, 000 figure includes an average unsocial hrs
figure as well.

I saw this advert on TV last night, and a few questions came to mind a
the time.... IS the average £20,000.00 for the mean average of all
nurses employed in the NHS or do we actually know the actual number of
each grade of nurse employed so that a mean can be calculated or do we
know how many C D E F grades etc are employed and are we in a position
to determine where the figure of 20,000 came from.
Does this imply that Nurses who have been out of the practice arena,
will automatically be employed in grades that attract this remuneration?
