Dear Dr Maute
During our experiments with the AR, we found that the clinically impressive/useful/significant change in AR mesurement (cross-sectional area not patency) that occurs independent of operator dependent variables to be above 10%. Any change below 10% may reflect operator dependent change. You can determine that in your practice by applying a topical long-term vasoconstrictive agent and repeating AR measurements on the same subject over time. Inter-test variability should be less than 10%, otherwise it is due to faulty technique and can be corrected. I hope this helps.
Sincerely
Anil Gungor MD
