Lectureship in Physical Geography/Earth Sciences
The Department of Geography & Earth Sciences invites applications for a
lectureship in Physical Geography or Earth Sciences. The appointment will
be for 1 year in the first instance. The successful applicant will be
expected to strengthen the Department's current research expertise in (1)
Neotectonics, and/or (2) Environmental change. Applicants are expected to
have research expertise EITHER in palaeoenvironmental analyses,
sedimentology, or geochemistry, OR in earthquake geology/
palaeoseismology, remote sensing/GIS, geophysics/seismology, or geohazard
studies.
Appointments will be made at an appropriate point on the Lecturer A scale
(£18,731 - £23,256 including London Allowance) depending on experience.
