>absolutely - a god context for this continuning and irresolvable debate
A "God" context?
We are in a period of time in which we have developed technological
capacities that exceed our present capacity to exploit them, and our
technological capacity is growing at an exponential rate.
This is a time for visionaries, who in their lives can expect to see their
visions become real. What I am attempting to do with my web site is to
process disaster related information by way of the internet at times when
that information means the difference between life and death. The greatest
problem I have is that most of the potential distributors of that
information are committed to transmitting that most valuable of all
information by other slower means. I know that we can set up a system for
transmitting that most valuable information by even faster means, than I
advocate to them, but I can't get them to take the first steps. This is not
the subject of the present discussion.
Is it technologically possible to do what is proposed here? Yes!
Will it happen any time soon? Probably not.
And certainly people will die who could have survived, but I draw some
solace from the knowledge that I am not the problem.
