Gordon Conference on Molecular Energy Transfer
Four Points Sheraton Hotel
January 14-19, 2001; Ventura, California
Co-chairs: Joel M. Bowman (Emory University) and
Hanna Reisler (University of Southern California)
Web site: http://www.grc.uri.edu/programs/2001/met.htm
The meeting (which alternates every two years between Europe and the US)
will cover all aspects of energy transfer. Oral sessions will take place
in the morning and in the evening. At the beginning of each session, the
session Chair will give a 20 minute perspective of the field. Each oral
presentation will be 35 minutes, leaving ample time for discussion.
REGISTRATION
Deadline for registration at a reduced rate ($50 off) is: December 22, 2001.
Registration is done in two steps:
1. Use the on-line application through the Gordon Conference Home Page
which can be accessed by going to http://www.grc.uri.edu/attend.htm and
following instructions. All applications must be approved by the co-Chairs.
This conference usually has close to the maximum number of attendees, so
early application is encouraged.
2. Once an application is approved, the Gordon Conference office will mail
the registration material. This must be filled out the and sent back (mail
or fax) with payment .
SUBMISSION OF POSTER PRESENTATIONS
If you are interested in submitting a poster, please send the title,
The list of authors and an abstract to one of the co-Chairs (see below).
Please indicate which author will present the poster. The deadline for
submission of posters is December 22, 2001.
