i had a look at my 'archive' yesterday and found a few images of the
mine. Pleas find one of them attached to this message.
The location of the mine is Melsbach a few kilometers from Neuwied.
I took the photograph on August 19 1990 when the mine has been closed
already. A friend of mine has taken underground photographs there
a few months (IIRC) before.
The mine has been operated by 'Didier Feuerfest' company.
I will try to get in contakt with the former mine-manager in
order to find out more about it.
I have been told, that a few other mines still exist in the
Westerwald area, which are out of production but still partly
accessible (company names: Fuchs and Ludwig).

Sure, will try to get an exemplar. Thanks for the hint.
Greetings
