Zac,
The Cann Mine is listed by A K Hamilton Jenkin, Mines of Devon, Vol. 1,
(Newton Abbot, 1974), p. 120, giving a few details of working after the lode
was cut in the construction of the Cann Canal (hence its alternative name
'Canal Mine') but noting that it was not mentioned by either Dines or
Collins. Apparently there is a surface plan dated 1829 in the 'Archive
Department, Plymouth Central Library'.
