If one also includes surface declines as 'headgear', there is also the Cambo
Keels Mine (flourspar) concrete structure. Also the structures at Grove Rake.
There are also all the structures pertaining to same within the Alston
Anthracite Field. Definitive, as Adrian means in what he says is, will
eventually, after all those who eventually put in their lot, will at the end
of the day realise such an end. It does not matter how long - Rome after all
was not built in a day - but the task Adrian has set out on is an interesting
one, and speaking for myself - & I think others - will do whatever possible
to help achieve this goal. At the previously mentioned Bwlchglas Mine, there
is also a secondary u/g shaft from the Deep Adit, served by a wheel secured
in the roof above by minor timbers: it is a 'headgear' in true description:
there is also the decline h/g in Cwmystwyth - complete with wheel (please
forgive me if this already on the list). Regards, Bernard
