Having a mining history presence on the Internet does attract messages from
family historians, usually seeking information on individual family members
who were miners. I know there are a number of web sites out there which
specialise in mining/family history often concentrating on specific areas
like Cornwall. If members come across such sites, particularly any which
relate to colonial mining, could they pass the details - i.e. URL - to me
off list. I will then collate the results and prepare a web page on the
subject.
