Longueville, solicitors of Oswestry, are responsible for by far 
the largest unlisted collection of papers in the National Library of 
Wales. 

They were solicitors to several estates, railways and industrial 
concerns in the region (Shrops., Mont., Denb., Flint. and Mer., and 
tailing off into at least Ches., Here. and Brec.). Mining concerns 
listed on the outside of Longueville boxes (all Longueville (1980-81 
industrial) unless otherwise stated) include:

Wrexham & Acton (1954 industrial, 1 box)

Most of these mining concerns are probably only represented by a
bundle or two of papers, but if it's the one you are after, perhaps 
it is worth a visit to sunny Aberystwyth.

As I usually find myself writing at the end of letters to enquirers, 
"You are welcome to visit the library and consult this material for 
yourself. The library is open Monday-Friday, 9.30-6.00, and Saturday, 
9.30-5.00 (closed Sundays, bank holidays and the first full week in 
October). Admission is by reader's ticket, which can be supplied on 
production of some means of identification." Don't wait for 
Longueville to be listed, because it isn't going to happen this 
century or well into the next.
