Many thanks for that information, I'd wondered for years what had happened
to the Journals and I'm glad that they survived - though a touch envious!
Quite apart from the mining and historical interest, that set must now be
worth rather more that £25...

Hi,
I understand that the company was wound up. Maybe in the 1960-70s. Justin
Brooke, Marazion, was fortunate enough to buy their set of the MJ. He told
me
he offered them £25 for them as they were clearing the offices. They
apparently
thought he wanted £25 to take them away! As for the records I think I'm
correct in saying Justin obtained some but I'm not entirely certain on that.
