Peter,
You could suggest that he tries try the Plymouth Mineral and Mining
Club. Its a bit late for council to become interested, I have not been
to the area for some years but I thought that most of the area had
been developed for building! A pity as this is one of the area that
could have worked for iron in the Iron Age given the presence of a
local trade iron (currency) bar group.
