I wonder if you could tell me whether there was any use of water-power in
silvermining in the late 19th c, particularly in the U.S.. For example, might
turbine wheels have been used to generate electric power for crushing mills
(at high altitudes)?. I'd be very grateful for anything you could tell me on
any silvermining/ waterwheel connections.
