> explosion which took place at the
>Universal Pit at Senghenydd on 14th October 1913.
Phillip,
The official inquiry into this, as with all major colliery disasters late
19th c. onwards, was that initiated by Parliament and published as 1914 Cd
7346. Copies will be found in the House of Lords Record Office and the major
libraries.
If you haven't already done so, you might look at Williams, N. The
Senghenydd Colliery Disaster, Glamorgan Historian 6 (1969), 145-159, for
further information.
