I am taking the liberty of forwarding this NUMISM-L message from a
respected French numismatist, regarding an inventory of French jetons
(18th to 20th century) placed on his web site.
Numbers 453 to 512 are French mining tokens (some duplicates), with
*excellent* images, which may be of interest (e.g., #480, an 1840 token
showing a mine entrance). Iron, copper, zinc, coal, ... mines are
represented.
