Fussells ironworks - mainly for the manufacture of edged tools - was in
Mells, near Frome - this was also the home of the Horner family (of Little
Jack Horner fame - Mells allegedly being the "plum" which Jack took from the
"pie" of the dissolution of Glastonbury Abbey)
Copious records of Fussells' enterprise exist, including much published
local history in the frome/radstock/Midsomer Norton area.
