published between March 1853 and December 1859. I have transcribed the text
of all the mining references which I can find and these cover the following

I have not yet been able to copy the engravings referred to, i.e. the fire
at Page Bank Colliery, Tyldesley Colliery, and the invention of a safety
lamp by W. Wilkins & Co., but I hope to do this in the not too distant
future.
