Dear Bernhard, dear List
I just searched the Internet and found an natural occurence mentioned somewhere
in Canada, but with no detailed information
I still cant believe such information about natural calcium carbide for several
reasons. The simplest of which is that natural calcium carbide is not mentioned
in any systematic mineralogical compendium.
How about a confusion with a (coal ?) mine, which was mined by the mining
company Union Carbide or one of its subsidiaries ?
Regards
Thomas
