Perhaps members with an interest in North American copper mining can help
with the following query from a non-member. I'm also copying the query to
the North American list where it might meet with a wider response.
My intitial response was to provide some basic details and suggest the
enquirer read Copper for America; The United States Copper Industry from
Colonial Times to the 1990s, by Charles K. Hyde. The University of Arizona
Press, 1998, ISBN 0 8165 1817 3, for an account of Anaconda's impact on the
North American copper industry.
