Not a direct answer to either, but the Cornish-Swansea Copper/Coal Trade
is represented by an absolutely excellent model of Trevaunance (the
harbour) in St Agnes Museum (Cornwall) - a totally amateur and community
effort - but with displays relevant to illustrating mining history which
rival many of our major bodies.
Even if it isn't in the museum the volunteer staff know loads , or know
someone who does. We have no connection with this museum except as keen
visitors.
No web site that I know of, but phone number (it's someone's house, so
respect reasonable hours) is +44 (0) 1872 552181. Open Easter to end of
September, 10:30 - 17:00 7 days a week. It free - they survive on the
community and voluntary contributions. St Agnes Museum, Penwinnick Road,
St Agnes, Cornwall, TR5 0PA. Park in the car park (free) outside the
library in the Village. And there's a _really_ good bakery in the
village for lunch.
Regards
John
