There may be something in MPP's Diver report, as Phil Carlisle suggests, however the main information about ZAA batteries supplied by Dobinson is in his 'Anti-aircraft artillery 1914-46' report, which - like Diver - was lodged with SMRs in 1997. Some sites are listed in his gazetteer, though it is known that there were more. A short article is due for publication in the Somerset Proceedings which describes the one on Blackdown, on the Mendips. This survives well, with most of its emplacements and magazines, but isn't listed in Dobinson. There are photos of ZAA sites in operation in Don Brown's Somerset vs Hitler, publ. last year. This archives-led work is the subject of a forthcoming publication series (EH with Methuen): Anti-aircraft is the second book in the series, the first - bombing decoys of WWII - is due for publication this September. An interim (and general) statement on MPP's work appeared in Antiquity in 1997.
Hope that helps

A collegue of mine is interested in conducting a survey over a Z
rocket site, and is having problems finding any information about
these devices. All we know is that they were a mid Second World War
anti aircraft battery. Does anyone on the list have any more
information, or possible sources for more information (especially
photographs)?
Thanks
Ken Hamilton
