ANNOUNCEMENT OF FACULTY POSITION
              Director of Collegium Musicum

Duties          Direct Early Music Performance ensembles and provide
                leadership in shaping early music activities, which
                include an historical instrument Baroque orchestra, viol
                consort, recorder consort, and various mixed groups.
                Additional responsibilities in musicology or applied
                instruction based on curricular needs and applicant's
                interests.

Qualifications  Completed doctorate or equivalent professional
                experience; demonstrated record of artistic and/or
                scholarly accomplishment; experience directing an
                early music ensemble; evidence of excellence in
                teaching. Expertise in one or more of the following
                also desirable: Baroque violin, history of musical 
                instruments, performance practice.

Rank, Salary    Full-time, tenure-track assistant or associate
                professor; salary commensurate with qualifications
                and experience.
