This one day conference marks the 25th anniversary of the publication of The
Red Paper on Scotland, a seminal collection of essays edited by the then 24

In 1975 The Red Paper provided an important analysis and direction for

Rowbotham / Hilary Wainwright / Owen Dudley Edwards / Bob Jessop

Susan Deacon MSP (Labour) Minister for Health, Scottish Executive Kenny
MacAskill MSP (Scottish National Party)
John MacAllion MP MSP (Labour).
Chaired by Lesley Riddoch of BBC Scotland.
