I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice. I am becoming
increasingly interested in public interest advertising from the inter-War
period to the present and was, in fact, considering a Phd proposal along
these lines. I would be interested in receiving information on (or from)
anyone who has published research in this field - I am principally concerned
with print ads aimed at young men in both newspapers and magazines - with
the purpose of pointing me in the right direction research-wise, or even
someone who would make, or know of, a suyitable supervisor. For the record,
i teach Graphic Design history at Staffs. Uni. and have been researching
home-style media until now.
