VERSION 1.50 OF MODES FOR WINDOWS RELEASED
*******************************************************************
The Modes Users Association have just released version 1.50 of the cataloguing
program Modes for Windows. This upgrade will be distributed free of charge to
all current users.
Since version 1.20 was released last July the testing team of 12 experienced
users have evaluated 45 interim versions of the program produced by the
programmer Richard Light. Since October 1999 a total of 2,155 evaluation
e-mail messages have been sent to the Testers mailing list. This has proved to
be a superb way of reporting back to Richard quickly and effectively and has
speeded up the development and bug fixing no end.
We are now looking forward to the next phase of development; the Modes Server
which will provide the basis for delivering public (Web) and multi-user access.
