Due to the continuing growth of our business we have opportunities for the
following people at our UK office in Swindon:
1. Software Trainer
Principal duties:
* Delivery of customer training courses in the use of ADLIB
products, both
at customer sites and in house.
* Design and development of training courses and associated
materials.
* Identification of new opportunities to expand the company's
training
operations.
* Organisation and administration of scheduled training
courses, with the
assistance of the Marketing Administrator.
* Occasional manning of the ADLIB Help Desk
This position would suit:
* a person with experience of software training particularly
in the areas
of Library, Museum or Archive automation and/or customer
support and help
desk work.
* a person who enjoys taking responsibility but within a team
environment.
You will need to have a good grasp of both the technical and professional
issues involved in Library, Museum and Archive automation.
2. Senior Sales Person
Principal duties:
* Understanding customer needs and showing how Adlib can meet
them through
discussion, demonstration and presentations.
* Preparation of proposals and quotations.
* Negotiation with customers to conclude sales.
* Attendance at exhibitions, conferences and other lead
generation
activities.
This position would suit:
* a person with experience of selling/marketing to Libraries,
Museums,
Archives or similar professions.
* a person who enjoys taking responsibility but within a team
environment.
You will need to be prepared to thoroughly understand the technical
capabilities of our products, and how these are applied to meeting the
professional needs of our customers.
3. Marketing Administrator
This position is initially intended as maternity cover. However we are
experiencing a rapid growth in demand for our products and services, and so
there is a possibility that the post will become permanent.
Principal duties
* Administration and organisation of all aspects of company
participation
in exhibitions and other similar events
* First response to customer enquiries.
* Organisation and administration of advertising, brochure
production, and
other marketing materials.
* Liaison with ADLIB User Group
* Assist the software Trainer with the organisation and
administration of
scheduled training courses.
This position would suit:
* a person with previous experience of marketing
administration, or with
Library, Museum or Archive work.
* a person who enjoys taking responsibility but within a team
environment.
For all positions you must be prepared to travel in the UK and to Holland,
and to occasionally work outside normal working hours if required. These
positions offer an excellent opportunity to participate in the expansion of
the company and to become involved with all aspects of the software business
