this year to be held in June in Bangkok Thailand. The Asia Pacific
Management Forum, which provides articles, columns, research facilities and
resources on Asian business strategy and management on the Web, holds an
annual conference attended by many worldwide who have an interest in Asian
business, strategy, research, management and marketing.
It would be very much appreciated if you could distribute this to colleagues
too. Please feel free to reply to me personally, rather than the list, if
you would like the MSWORD format versions suitable for placing on staff
noticeboards or forwarding to newsletters and as circulars. Indeed please

5. Public and Corporate Governance
6. Branding in Asia
7. Asia's E-economy
8. An Asian approach to business and management
Styles may include:

1. Case Studies of new management and business
techniques in Asia-Pacific settings
2. Original research on Asian business, marketing,
economics, and finance with practical implications
3. Journalistic or conceptual papers reviewing
trends or positing new models for Asian business
and management
Abstract Submission Guidelines:

Abstracts can be submitted now for review via email,
fax or email to the Kuala Lumpur APMF office.
The abstract should include:
1. Title of Paper
2. Style of Paper - from the 3 styles above
3. Theme of Paper - from the 8 themes above
4. Author(s) and Affiliation
5. Abstract of paper (100 to 300 words)
6. Contact email, fax and postal address
FINAL DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS: January 31st 2001
Paper Submission Guidelines:

Upon successful review, the review board will
request a final paper.
Length - 3,000 to 5,000 words and with the addition
of references, figures and tables should be no longer
than 30 double spaced A4 pages.
Papers must be available for publication on the
Asia Pacific Management Forum in the new Research Papers
section, and free of copyright restrictions.
