I would like to know what you would consider to be the average standard setup
for Internet and online access. See below for my technical problems.
Everyone here is meant to have the same standard kit.
Is the solution to use a dedicated, non-networked machine for all external
database use?
MY EQUIPMENT
- One workstation for email, general office applications AND all online/internet
access.
- normal voice line for internet/online : [awaiting ISDN line]
- modem (Sportster Flash)
- IE4
- one printer : (HP Laserjet4 M Plus) with standard buffer.
I download quite a lot of original image docs : accounts, company circulars etc.
some of which can be quite large.
