The Middle East Review of International Affairs (MERIA) Journal, an
electronic, academic quarterly on Middle East issues, reaching over ten
thousand readers in 90 countries, now offers its issues in PDF format, which
can be read by Adobe Acrobat Reader. This new, free service is perfect for
libraries since you can print out the issue (with page numbers and full
layout) to put on your periodical shelves.
The monthly MERIA News, which provides resources for Middle East
research) will also be sent using this format.
If you are already getting MERIA, just write us at
<[log in to unmask]> and ask for the adobe acrobat version rather than
plain text. If you are not getting MERIA now, we will be happy to add you to
our list. Finally, if you want to get both adobe acrobat and plain text that
is also fine.
Most computers already have Adobe Acrobat Readers. If you don' have
itt, you can obtain the software for free by visiting our website
<http//:meria.biu.ac.il>. The download is simple and fast. The June 2000
issue is already available on our site in adobe acrobat for downloading.
We will be converting all past issues to this system in the near future.
Sincerely, Barry Rubin, Editor, MERIA Journal
