I am trying to find a copy of a report on plague quarantining published in
Constantinople in 1906 for a graduate student in the Stanford University
Department of History. So far I have had no success. The student found
the report in the British Library, but the BL refuses to make a copy,
saying they are bound by copyright restrictions. New York Public Library
is listed in the pre-56 NUC as a holder of the report, but a colleague
there has looked for it personally and it is not to be found. I have
looked without success in RLIN and OCLC, and also in the on-line catalog of
the US National Library of Medicine and various other on-line catalogs,
including Milli Kutuphane. I also posted a query on H-TURK, the listserve
of the Turkish Studies Association. No luck. The item is (this entry is
taken from the BL's on-line catalog):
>Author: TURKEY Departments of State and Public Institutions
> Sihhat ve Içtimai Muavenit Vekâleti
>Title: Rapport de la Commission d'inspection des lazarets sur le
> lazaret de Beyrouth. Présenté au Conseil supérieur de santé le
> 9 octobre 1906. [With plates, including plans.]
>Publisher: pp. 40. iii. Constantinople, 1906. fol.
>
>This work has Shelfmark: S.Q.150 in the British Library.
I would be grateful for any assistance in locating and copying this report.
