I am trying to find the item listed below, to be borrowed, filmed, or
photocopied for a graduate student at Stanford University, who needs it for
his dissertation. The New York Public Library and the British Library are
reported as holding libraries (the record copied below is from the BL's
on-line catalog). However, the NYPL copy cannot be found and the British
Library will not reproduce more than 10 pages because the work falls within
a 120-year period of exclusion, unless we can provide written authorization
from the holder of copyright (or prove that the author or authors died more
than 70 years ago).
The work is:
>Author: TURKEY Departments of State and Public Institutions
Sihhat ve Içtimai Muavenit Vekâleti
>Title: Rapport de la Commission d'inspection des lazarets sur le
lazaret de Beyrouth. Présenté au Conseil supérieur de santé le
9 octobre 1906. [With plates, including plans.]
>Publisher: pp. 40. iii. Constantinople, 1906. fol.
This work has Shelfmark: S.Q.150 in the British Library.
Any information about holdings of this work and/or suggestions of possible
locations would be greatly appreciated. Please note that I have searched
RLIN, OCLC/World, the pre-56 NUC, and the web-based catalogs of the British
Library and Milli Kutuphane.
Please reply to me, not to the list.
