Persian Materials Cataloguing Assistant

The Library seeks to appoint a cataloguing assistant to work chiefly on
Persian language materials and to
support the work of the Library's permanent staff on the Middle Eastern
RSLP project. A good knowledge of
Modern Persian is essential, together with the ability to romanise Persian
according to the Library of Congress
system. The candidate should be an experienced cataloguer; knowledge of
AACR2, LCSH and DDC would be
an advantage.
The post is available for 18 months full-time.
