Subject: Nursing Times
I wonder if anyone else, like me, resents the amount of shelf space which Nursing Times occupies? Typically about two-thirds of each issue consists of job adverts which become "ephemeral" after 2 or 3 weeks. Yet I keep NT for 10 years (and even so, get asked for articles that appeared 11 years ago!).
I also find photocopying from their non-standard page size is difficult. I wonder why they can't use A4 which is now so standard in UK.
I've written to them twice about this, suggesting that they issue a separate classified section (as with BMJ and our own dear LA Record) - but have never had a reply, which is symptomatic of something or other.
Is anybody else prepared to write to them - perhaps we could have a bit of a campaign?
